The main focus of the show is on Mixx.com, yet focuses on other sites and contenders in the social media field.

Following our first live show, the SB team head back to “the studio” to record the seventeenth episode, in which we discuss the future of Social Blend Live and what listeners can expect in weeks and months to come. We also discuss the recent Mixxcellany update / release of Mixx, as well as why Joe from Mixx should choose a new avatar.

For our Stories of the Week, Jay plays a segment of a humorous video about trolling from Popcrunch, while Reem highlights an article of interest from Copyblogger.com that was posted in the Social Blend group. Greg discusses the significance of GI Joe’s Scarlett (hot damn lord above), and also brings up Honest_Ape’s dream social network. Brian’s story of the week focuses on the controversial news of federal law enforcement seeking to collect DNA with every arrest.

We also discuss the issue of worker visas and immigration to the United States; while Jay lets the semantics of social media terminology grind his gears.

Our User Focus is Hdar3415 this week – and as usual we talk of some Comments of the Week and jump into the Mixx Lounge.
