Presented by Greg Davies (cGt2099 from The-TrukstoP.com), Joe Fowler (SilentJay74 from JuicySnake.Blogspot.com), Brian Hill (Bdog2g2 from MixxingBowl.com), and Reem Abeidoh (Nomadelle from ReemAbeidoh.com), the Social Blend examines the latest news and opinions hitting the world of social media.  The main focus of the show is on Mixx.com, yet focuses on other sites and contenders in the social media field. 

We’re joined this week our very special guest Lee Garnett, aka nComment, the artist behind the new and outstanding comic strip that focuses on Social Media.  We discuss the recent April fool’s Day pranks on the web, the success of Mixx Campaign II, web thieves, and another Greasemonkey hack for Mixx.

For our Stories of the Week, Lee discusses a great new social site focusing on images and photography called WeHeartIt.com, while Greg follows up with some pics from Mixx including a fabulous post from Worth1000.com.  Brian discusses the idiocracy of failed scientists criticizing the Large Hadron Collider (in which the Bdog2g2 man almost – almost – loses his cool), and Reem discusses the issues surrounding potential censorship of other social networks at Digg.  Meanwhile, Jay brings our attention to the outstanding feat of a young man who dives shirtless into cactus.  I mean, who wouldn’t want to do that, right?

Our User Focus is GBarberi this week (who pwned Greg at The Mixxing Bowl last week) – and as usual we talk of some Comments of the Week and jump into the Mixx Lounge.

Also, we issue a Star Wars challenge to Reem; which we will follow up on in the next episode!
