Casting Call: We’re looking for a female podcaster.
Female personality needed for the SocialBlend. While its fun to shoot the breeze with the fellas, we think we need a female perspective on the topics we discuss.
Seeking:
- Women 18 years or older.
- English speaking. (Only because Joe speaks Southern and Greg speaks Australian)
- Must be able to swim (never know).
- Fun, opinionated, not afraid to talk, and a great sense of humor
- Knowledgeable with social media, national and world events, and everything else (You don’t have to be an expert)
What you need:
- Computer (duh!)
- Skype
Show details:
- We record on the weekends (typically) so you have to be available then for an hour.
- Recording times change so you’d have to be flexible.

Oh and we forgot to add that none of us get paid, but its a labor of love and we can’t make you shine like a star, but we’ll at least get you to 60 watt status. ;).
Well, if she wasn’t so damn busy, I’d recommend my wife, who I used to podcast with. She’s hilarious and cool as fuck. We did this podcast called Jerkcast that was basically us sitting around and bullshitting about news we found on the web, as well as telling extremely embarassing and graphic anecdotes from our lives. I’d share some, but they aren’t SFW in any way. It was fun as shit. I think she’d fit in with you guys perfectly. But….like I said, she’s too busy at present.
Oh well.

I’m a good swimmer. Not very fast, but I have decent form.
Actually, my wife just told me not to speak for her. She’s interested and available on the weekends. She’s web savvy, but lately tends to lurk social media sites rather than submit content, mainly because I hog the pc and our laptop recently broke, forcing her to use a rather old computer that moves at the speed of snail - but that’s changing soon… Here is a link to some podcasts she did with me, a Rock / Metal podcast to give you a sample. We had to quit because of me, but she’s always wanted to get back into podcasting.

Considering she is hilarious, will talk about anything and is impossible to offend, I think it would be a good match for you three. And she can watch her mouth when she needs to, unlike me.
